Centrally located - easy to reach
The Messe Karlsruhe
Karlsruhe is centrally located on several traffic routes and can be easily reached by plane, train or car. Karlsruhe is the hub for ICE, InterCity, EuroCity and InterRegio connections and is located directly on the ICE route from Hamburg via Frankfurt to Basel. The west-east axis from Karlsruhe via Stuttgart to Munich also begins from here. From Paris you can be in Karlsruhe in just three hours with the TGV.
From the main train station, take Line 3 (toward Heide) or Line 4 (toward Waldstadt) to the Europaplatz stop and change there to Line S2 toward Rheinstetten (alight at the Messe/Leichtsandstraße stop). From the city centre, take Line S2 toward Rheinstetten and alight at the Messe/Leichtsandstraße stop. For events and on trade fair days, tickets for “Tarifwabe 100” are valid as far as the Messe/Leichtsandstraße stop. Coming from the A5/A8 motorway, please take exit no. 48 “Karlsruhe-Süd”. Coming from the A65 or B10 motorway, please take exit no. 8 and follow the signs to “Messe”. On the Karlsruhe Trade Fair Centre, you will find a total of 7,000 car parking spaces in three car parks, as well as a VIP/press car park. Parking spaces for people with disabilities are available in the first rows of car park P1. You will also find e-charging station parking spaces at the entrance to the administration on car park P1
Travel by plane to one of the three airports: Baden Airpark, Frankfurt Airport, Aéroport Strasbourg. You can reach the city centre from these airports by car or train within an hour.
